Matthew Campbell is an Americana artist known for his soulful storytelling and evocative melodies. Raised in Brantford Ontario, Matthew grew up singing in everything from church choirs to karaoke bars. Drawing from influences like the Eagles and Jackson Browne, as well as contemporary artists like Jason Isbell and Chris Stapleton, Campbell blends folk, blues, soul, and country influences to create a sound that resonates with both nostalgia and modernity. His lyrics often draw upon personal experiences, inviting listeners into his world with relatable themes of love, loss, and resilience. With a warm, gravelly voice and emotive guitar work, Campbell has captivated audiences at festivals and intimate venues alike, earning a loyal following. Matthew is currently working with producer and co-writer Dan Hosh, known for his credits with City & Colour, Elliott Brood, and The Trews, on what will be his debut release.
