Cool Creek Honey: Green Thumbs and Farm Finds In-Person
Join us every Wednesday as we learn from or visit local farms throughout the County.
Cool Creek Farms will discuss the role of pollinators, the types of bees used in agriculture and the castes that exist in the hive. Learn about:
- Beekeepers’ rewards
- Difference between conventional, organic honey, and organic methods of beekeeping
- Honey flavours
- Cooking with honey
- Myths about bees and honey
Get hands on teachings about everything from growing flowers and backyard farming to farm to table recipes and raising animals. Each week is sure to inspire and educate all while supporting our incredible local farming community!
