Swing by the Scotland-Oakland Branch and learn how to make your own buttons.
From design to completion, you’ll have the chance to make buttons that highlight what you’re thankful for, and serve as a fun reminder, gift or accessory of what matters to you. A creative, quick and quirky program using library equipment that will bring some pizazz to your style. Drop in. Adult program.

Please note: this program occurs before library open hours, however access to the program room will be available.
Join us for our Thankful Thursday programs, where we come together as a community to explore simple yet powerful ways to cultivate and share gratitude. Each week, we’ll engage in thoughtful activities designed to help us notice the good around us, reflect on what we’re thankful for, and build meaningful connections with others.
Practicing gratitude has been shown to boost mood, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. By taking time to focus on the positives in our lives, we can create a more harmonious and fulfilling day-to-day experience.
Come discover—or re-discover—new ways to see the world through a lens of thankfulness. Join us weekly this fall and take part in a journey toward a more joyful and grounded life.
