Writing for Change

Writing for Change In-Person

Have you ever wanted to write to make a difference?

Do you have a cause you feel strongly about, or see an injustice you want to rally for? Writing for change is an essential skill and can be learned. Join Councilor Steve Howes for an evening discussing how you can write to impact the world around you and bring about the change you want to see.

Join us every Wednesday this fall for an inspiring evening of writing, creativity, and community. Each session features presentations from authors, publishers, editors, and library staff—offering valuable insight, encouragement, and practical tools to support you on your writing journey.

Whether you're a seasoned writer or just getting started, Writing Wednesdays are a great way to connect with local authors, meet fellow literary enthusiasts, and maybe even discover your next great read.
