Writing for Career Success

Writing for Career Success In-Person

How we write in a professional setting has a significant impact on our career.

Whether it’s writing the perfect resume and cover letter, or learning how to draft a proposal for a project, writing clearly, convincingly and for our intended audience has a bigger impact than we may think. Whether you’re just entering the professional landscape, looking to switch paths and try something new, or re-entering the workforce after some time away, this program is for you. An evening of resources and information designed to help you write for success in whatever career you are or hope to pursue.

Please note: this program occurs outside of library open hours, however access to the program room will be available.

Join us every Wednesday this fall for an inspiring evening of writing, creativity, and community. Each session features presentations from authors, publishers, editors, and library staff—offering valuable insight, encouragement, and practical tools to support you on your writing journey.

Whether you're a seasoned writer or just getting started, Writing Wednesdays are a great way to connect with local authors, meet fellow literary enthusiasts, and maybe even discover your next great read.
